Hmm, here. Normally I would just let you read it, but Kookie doesn't have access to that area, and I figure he needs to read it also, or he will keep telling him to stop bumping.

7. Bumping.


Bumping isn't a serious issue, unless it happens repeatedly from the same user.

So, what is bumping?

A bump is when an old topic (one month or older) gets posted in.

Bumping uses the 1/2 warn system.

1
1 1/2
2
2 1/2
3 (1 week ban)
3 1/2 (2 week ban)
4 (Permanent ban)

The only area where bumping does not apply is in the tutorial section. A tutorial will always be helpful, if a tutorial is in the tutorial section, it is there because it deserves to be there.

Any tutorials that are worthless and no one finds helpful will be removed.

It would be far too annoying to sticky every good tutorial, so it's easier to allow people to bump tutorials instead.




Also, I would recommend re-reading the warn/ban guidelines, Rekku, I updated them quite a bit.

Lol, no worries. Not a big deal, was just posting them.

I blame myself anyways, I didn't post any information on the issue, so I'm to blame for you not knowing.

AND! I know this may sound really stupid, but I'm considering locking intro topics after 1 week. Not like anyone needs to be told hello 1 week after they joined. Which, would make you guys right, he did bump. Of course no bumping rules were in place then, so it doesn't matter.
